Women’s Hospital Ambajipeta had been started by Dr. I. Leeser and Miss S. Wright who was her colleague. Hundreds of women patients have been blessed by the service rendered by the hospital. Despite the fact that the missionary Doctor Dr. Irene Leeser left the hospital many years ago after serving for over 40 years. Adv. Raju M. Koshy inaugurated Jubilee celebrations of Women’s Hospital on 15th August, 2018. As a result of consistent prayers, God was gracious and brought Bro. Heward Raju as the Superintendent / CEO of the hospital. He joined in October, 2017. Ever since he joined, the hospital is progressing physically and spiritually.Pediatric work is being done by Dr. Pranuth. The Leeser-Wright Eye Care work is continuing. On an average, 1100 cataract and other surgeries have been done here. Bethel Infertility Center is also in operation.
14 Free Medical camps were conducted in 14 villages. The hospital needs a scanning Machine. The institution took up an innovative ministry “The Health Champion” among nearby schools.The hospital needs a facelift in many matters.
