Bethesda (Leprosy) Special Upper Primary School, Narsapur, Andhra Pradesh
Bethesda (Leprosy) Special Upper Primary School, functioning as a part of Bethesda Leprosy Hospital, was started in the year 1935 with classes up to seventh grade. It is a government-recognized special school. Presently there are 05 teachers and 74 children enrolled in the school. There are two community-based programs one for HIV adults as Home Based Care and one for HIV children as George Muller-2. Bethesda has completed its 100-year journey and celebrated its Centenary event on 3rd Feb 2023. Adv.Raju. M. Koshy (General Secretary – Stewards Association in India), Mr. Ian Burness and Mr. Stephen Shaw were the guests of honor for the celebration. Bethesda is deeply thankful to the Lord Almighty for carrying this wonderful ministry for these past 100 years.
