Berachah Bible School, Nidadavole, Andhra Pradesh
Nidadavolu is a town in West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The pioneer missionaries Mr. William Bowden and Mr. George Beer who came and settled in Godavari region in the year 1836. The evangelization of this region was continued through 4 generations of foreign missionaries.
Mr. David Burt, is the missionary used by God to start this Bible school to equip brethren with sound teaching from the Word of God and is functioning at Berachah Compound, Nidadavole. This was a mission base for Mr. Craford John Tilsley of U.K. who purchased around three acres of land along with buildings in the year 1955. To accommodate the increasing number of students, a new hall to accommodate around 200 students was constructed. In November 2019, the school had the privilege of hosting Dr Ian Burness and Dr William Harryson from UK as teachers of the Word of God.
Over the years, hundreds of workers from the assemblies in East and West Godavari Districts have been trained by gifted Bible teachers, invited from all over India. Plans to construct two guest rooms for the accommodation of Bible teachers are currently underway.
Bible Teaching Programs are conducted every three months and the work of the Bible school is being carried out under the leadership of Mr. B.G. Stevenson and evangelist Ch. Zephaniah.
